The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is actively addressing ground-level ozone pollution through various strategies. Notable steps include the implementation of Bharat Stage VI-compliant vehicles reducing NOx emissions by up to 87%, the promotion of electric vehicles to eliminate vehicular emissions, and the launch of the National Clean Air Programme, targeting pollution in urban areas.
