Government Initiatives Boost MSME Exports

The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) announced various initiatives to enhance export competitiveness, increasing MSME's contribution to merchandise exports from 45.74% in 2023-24 to 48.55% in 2024-25. The Export Promotion Mission (EPM) was introduced to enhance the export ecosystem through initiatives like NIRYAT PROTSAHAN for trade finance support and NIRYAT DISHA for non-financial assistance. Government strategies, including GST rationalization, PM Gati Shakti, National Logistics Policy, and the International Cooperation Scheme, aim to fortify MSME's position in the global market.
