Government Initiatives Boosting Tribal Women's Empowerment in Jharkhand

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has announced plans focused on the development and empowerment of tribal women in Jharkhand through the Development Action Plan for Scheduled Tribes (DAPST). This plan enlists the cooperation of 41 ministries, making specific budget accommodations for tribal development projects in various areas such as healthcare, education, and livelihood. Initiatives like DhartiAabaJanjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan and Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan are designed to address infrastructural gaps and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities, empowering over 5 crore tribals across India.
