Government Launches Employment Linked Incentive Scheme

The Government has approved the Employment Linked Incentive Scheme with a budget of Rs 99,446 crore, aimed at boosting employment over a two-year registration period from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2027. The scheme consists of two parts: Part A offers incentives to first-time employees equivalent to one month of EPF wages (up to Rs 15,000), while Part B provides up to Rs 3,000 per month for creating additional employment for at least six months. The initiative was developed after consultations with various stakeholders, including trade unions and industry associations.
