Government of India Announces Auction for Government Securities
The Government of India has announced the re-issue auction of two government securities: '6.01% Government Security 2030' for ₹18,000 crore and '7.09% Government Security 2074' for ₹12,000 crore. The auction will take place on November 21, 2025, conducted by the Reserve Bank of India. Up to 5% of the securities will be allotted to eligible individuals and institutions through a non-competitive bidding facility. Bids must be submitted electronically, with results announced the same day and payments due on November 24, 2025.
