Government of India Announces Auction for New Government Securities
The Government of India has announced an auction for the sale of 'New Government Security 2030' for ₹15,000 crore and '7.09% Government Security 2054' for ₹12,000 crore, to be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India on July 18, 2025. Up to 5% of the securities will be allotted to eligible individuals and institutions through a non-competitive bidding facility. Bids must be submitted electronically on the same day, with results announced later that day and payments due on July 21, 2025.
