Government of India Launches Digital Notary Portal

The Government of India has introduced a new digital platform, the Notary Portal, designed to streamline services related to the Notaries Act, 1952, and the Notaries Rules, 1956. This portal facilitates online services, including notary applications, eligibility verification, and issuing digitally signed Certificates of Practice. With more than 35,000 digital certificates already issued, this initiative aims to create a paperless, efficient link between the notaries and the government.
