The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has announced the Promotion of Research & Innovation in Pharma-MedTech Sector (PRIP) scheme, inviting proposals for projects worth ₹11,000 crore. The scheme supports early-stage projects with funding up to ₹5 crore and later-stage projects with funding up to ₹100 crore. It aims to foster collaboration between industry and academia, focusing on public health priorities such as rare diseases and antimicrobial resistance. The application process is now open through a dedicated digital portal.
