Government of India Monthly Accounts Report: December 2025 Insights

The Ministry of Finance has released the consolidated accounts of the Government of India for the financial year 2025-26 up to December 2025. Total receipts amounted to ₹25.25 lakh crore, making up 72.2% of the budget estimates, while total expenditure was ₹33.80 lakh crore, at 66.7% of the budget estimates. Key figures include ₹19.39 lakh crore net tax revenue and ₹10.38 lakh crore in tax devolution to states.
