Government of India Promotes Domestic and Pharmaceutical Production through Incentive Schemes

The Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Schemes focus on enhancing the nation's manufacturing capacities in both the pharmaceutical and fertilizer sectors. These schemes are designed to reduce reliance on imports, support infrastructural development, and promote economic diversification within the country's chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Additional efforts include establishing bulk drug parks and making fertilizers available at subsidized rates to farmers.
