Government Restores RoDTEP Benefits for Special Export Categories
The Government of India has reinstated the RoDTEP benefits for Advance Authorization (AA) holders, Export-Oriented Units (EOUs), and Special Economic Zones (SEZs) effective from June 1, 2025. This decision aims to enhance India's export competitiveness and provide a level playing field for exporters. The RoDTEP scheme, operational since January 2021, reimburses exporters for duties and taxes not refunded under other schemes. The government has allocated Rs. 18,233 crore for the 2025-26 financial year to support diverse export sectors.
