Govt Expands Rural Media Outreach with New Initiatives

The Indian government has commissioned 264 Community Radio Stations since 2019, established 6 new Doordarshan channels, and upgraded 17 existing channels. The DD Free Dish service has expanded from 104 to 510 channels, including 320 educational channels.
