Grant Assistance to NCDC for Rural Development

Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for the Cabinet's approval of ₹2000 crore grant assistance to the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) over the next four years. This funding aims to strengthen the rural economy by supporting cooperatives in launching new projects, expanding operations, and providing loans, ultimately benefiting millions of cooperative members, empowering women, and creating job opportunities for youth. Additionally, the Cabinet approved ₹6,520 crores for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana to enhance food safety and quality, and ₹11,169 crores for railway expansion projects to improve connectivity and boost trade.
