Growth of Textile Industry in 2025

The Textile and Apparel Industry in India saw a 5% growth in exports during 2024-25, reaching USD 37,754 million. The government has implemented the Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP) to enhance investments and create jobs, with two parks sanctioned in West Bengal. Additionally, PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM-MITRA) Parks are being established at seven locations with a budget of Rs. 4,445 crore for the next seven years.
