Guidebook on HSN Codes Unveiled by Union Minister Piyush Goyal

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, launched a Guidebook on Mapping of Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) Codes, which allocates 12,167 HSN Codes to 31 Ministries and Departments. This initiative aims to enhance manufacturing development, investment promotion, and trade facilitation, supporting India's vision of becoming a global manufacturing hub by 2047. The Guidebook is designed to streamline regulatory processes and improve trade negotiations, ultimately fostering economic growth and sectoral development.
