Haldia Multi-Modal Terminal Handed Over to IRC Natural Resources
The Inland Waterways Authority of India has officially handed over the Haldia Multi-Modal Terminal to IRC Natural Resources under a Public-Private Partnership model. This terminal, with a capacity of 3.08 million metric tonnes per annum, aims to enhance inland waterway infrastructure and promote multimodal logistics. The operationalization is expected to boost cargo movement, particularly to the North Eastern states and Bangladesh, aligning with the Government of India's vision for sustainable Inland Water Transport.
