High-Level Review Meeting Highlights Healthcare Reforms and TB Elimination Efforts

Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda chaired a high-level meeting with Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh health officials to assess healthcare status and boost national health program implementations. Emphasis was placed on strengthening public health systems, enhancing diagnostics, drug regulation, and patient care, as well as promoting technology-driven solutions like telemedicine, particularly in underserved areas. The meeting marked an intensified commitment to the elimination of tuberculosis (TB) through district-specific interventions and nationwide consultative drives. Both state governments assured collaboration with the central ministry to enhance healthcare infrastructure and outcomes while participating in the National Health Mission strategies.
