Himalayan Conclave 2025: A Vision for Sustainable Development

The G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment is set to host a three-day Himalayan Conclave from November 13-15, 2025, in Almora, Uttarakhand. The event aims to develop a strategic vision for the Indian Himalayan Region by 2047, aligning with India's 'Viksit Bharat 2047' initiative. It will gather experts to discuss environmental conservation, climate change adaptation, and sustainable socio-economic growth, addressing challenges like climate change and resource depletion. The conclave will focus on six thematic areas, promoting regional cooperation and sustainable development strategies.
