The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) conducted the Coastal Security Exercise Sagar Kavach-02/25 from November 19-20, 2025, along the Maharashtra and Goa coastline. The exercise involved over 6,000 personnel and more than 115 sea and air assets, showcasing inter-agency coordination and operational readiness to counter maritime security threats. It aimed to assess preparedness for coastal security emergencies and enhance collaboration among various agencies responsible for maritime security.
