ICG Rescues Crew from Stranded U.S. Sailing Vessel

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) successfully rescued two crew members from the U.S. sailing vessel ‘Sea Angel’ which was stranded 52 nautical miles southeast of Indira Point, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The yacht was disabled due to rough weather conditions, including a blown sail and entangled propeller. After receiving a distress alert, ICG coordinated a rescue operation, and the crew was found safe. The yacht was towed to Campbell Bay harbour on July 11, 2025.
