ICMR Launches Nationwide Student Outreach Program to Inspire Future Health Researchers
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) organized the S.H.I.N.E. initiative, a nationwide outreach program aimed at igniting scientific curiosity among students. Over 13,000 students from grades 9-12 participated in interactive activities across various ICMR institutes, including laboratory tours and research exhibitions. The initiative aligns with the Prime Minister's vision for students to engage in scientific inquiry, promoting careers in health research and public health. The event also celebrated the legacy of Dr. Vulimiri Ramalingaswami on his 104th birth anniversary.
