IEPFA Enhances Financial Literacy Across India
The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA) has significantly bolstered India's financial literacy through its diverse initiatives. Partnering with India Post Payments Bank, the IEPFA has launched the "Niveshak Didi" program, aiming to educate communities about financial safety and literacy. By conducting over 1,110 camps reaching more than 68,700 beneficiaries, and training 40,000 postal workers as financial educators, the initiative extends its outreach to rural and semi-urban areas including women's groups. The program aligns with broader efforts by the Reserve Bank of India and FLCs by promoting digital and basic banking literacy through tailored educational camps, Financial Literacy Weeks, and multimedia campaigns like "RBI Kehta Hai."
