IICA Establishes Core Working Group on Corporate Affairs and ESG

The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) has formed a Core Working Group (CWG) on Corporate Affairs and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) to enhance corporate disclosures and governance. Chaired by DG IICA, Shri Gyaneshwar Kumar Singh, the CWG will review disclosure provisions, international best practices, and recommend board-level ESG oversight. The group includes senior leaders from major corporations and academic institutions, aiming to align Indian norms with global standards and foster stakeholder engagement.
