IIT Kanpur Hosts Successful Federated Intelligence Hackathon for Health AI

The National Health Authority, in collaboration with the ICMR and IIT Kanpur, organized a Federated Intelligence Hackathon to foster the development of secure and scalable AI solutions for healthcare. The event, part of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, saw participation from 374 individuals and teams, and featured addresses by prominent leaders in the healthcare and technology sectors. The hackathon awarded certificates and cash prizes for innovative AI models in bone age prediction, cataract detection, and diabetic retinopathy screening, contributing to the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
