The initiative, with a budget of Rs. 4,391 crore, includes setting up electric vehicle charging stations across the country, supported by an additional Rs. 2,000 crore allocation. With Bengaluru receiving 4,500 e-buses, procurement is being conducted by Convergence Energy Services Limited through competitive bidding.
