Implementation of Anna-Chakra Supply Chain Tool in India

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs has implemented the 'Anna-Chakra' Supply Chain Optimisation Tool in 30 out of 31 States/UTs, aiming to enhance the Public Distribution System (PDS). This initiative is expected to save Rs. 250 crore annually through transportation cost reductions and contribute to lower CO2 emissions, aligning with climate change commitments. The only state not implementing the tool is Manipur.
