Implementation of Chintan Shivir 2025 Recommendations
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE) held the Chintan Shivir 2025 to review various programs and schemes, addressing challenges faced by States/UTs. Key recommendations include enhancing scholarship guidelines for Scheduled Castes, improving outreach and efficiency, and leveraging technology. The Ministry has expanded the Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana (PM-AJAY) and the Scheme for Economic Empowerment of DNTs (SEED), while also modifying the National Action for Mechanised Sanitation Ecosystem (NAMASTE) to incentivize mechanization in sanitation.
