Implementation of National Mission on Natural Farming
The National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) is being implemented across 15,000 clusters in India, covering 7.5 lakh hectares. The initiative involves training over 3,900 scientists and 28,000 community resource persons to support farmers. An incentive of ₹4,000 per acre per year is provided to farmers for practicing natural farming. More than 10 lakh farmers have enrolled, and a certification system is being established to enhance market access. Additionally, 2,045 Bio-input Resource Centres have been set up to provide natural farming inputs and training.
