Inauguration of Sabar Dairy Plant in Haryana
Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Sabar Dairy Plant in Rohtak, Haryana, which is the largest dairy plant in India, built at a cost of ₹350 crore. The plant aims to support milk-producing farmers and is expected to produce significant quantities of dairy products daily. Under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, the dairy sector has seen a 70% growth, with a target to increase milk processing capacity to 100 million liters per day by 2028-29. The government plans to establish more cooperative societies to further enhance the dairy sector.
