Increase in Real Income for Small and Marginal Farmers

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare reports an increase in the average monthly income of agricultural households to Rs. 10,218, as per the latest Situation Assessment Survey. The government has implemented various policies and schemes aimed at enhancing farmers' income, particularly for small and marginal farmers, through strategies such as increasing crop productivity, reducing production costs, and improving price realization. Significant budget allocations and support programs have contributed to this growth over the past five years.
