India Advances Toward Paperless Governance with Digital Document Execution

The Ministry of Electronics and IT in India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National E-Governance Services Limited (NeSL) to enhance digital document management for businesses and government entities. This collaboration will allow for the real-time execution of electronic bank guarantees (e-BGs), significantly reducing the time for issuance, renewal, and invocation from days to minutes. The integration of NeGD's Entity Locker with NeSL's Digital Document Execution platform aims to foster faster, transparent, and legally compliant digital workflows, supporting India's digital governance vision and improving the ease of doing business.
