India and Korea to Elevate Economic Partnership
During the India–Korea Business Forum in New Delhi, President of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Lee Jae Myung, highlighted India's significant role in the global economy and the opportunity to double bilateral trade with Korea to USD 54 billion by 2030. Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal announced the signing of 16 Memoranda of Understanding to enhance cooperation across various sectors. Both nations will focus on upgrading the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and will work collaboratively on high-growth sectors such as semiconductors and green energy.
