India and Morocco Sign Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty
India and Morocco have signed a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) aimed at enhancing cooperation in judicial and legal matters. The agreement facilitates assistance in civil and commercial matters, including the service of judicial documents, taking of evidence, and execution of judicial judgments. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also established to promote the exchange of legal knowledge, training, and capacity-building initiatives between the two countries, fostering modernization and strengthening legal frameworks.
