India and New Zealand have finalized a landmark Free Trade Agreement (FTA) focusing on tariffs, investments, agricultural productivity, and talent exchange, aimed at strengthening economic ties and fostering global competitiveness. The agreement offers zero duty market access for 100% of India's exports and liberalizes tariffs on 70% of trade lines with New Zealand. The FTA also includes provisions for student mobility, enhanced skilled employment pathways, and a significant investment commitment from New Zealand into India.
