India and New Zealand Sign Historic Free Trade Agreement
India and New Zealand have finalized a landmark Free Trade Agreement (FTA) following negotiations initiated in March 2025. Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Christopher Luxon confirmed the agreement, which aims to bolster bilateral trade, economic engagement, and cooperation in various sectors, including innovation, education, and sports. The FTA is expected to double bilateral trade in five years and bring substantial investments from New Zealand to India.
