India and Russia Sign Landmark ITPS Agreement to Boost Cross-Border E-Commerce

The Department of Posts, Government of India, and JSC Russia Post have entered into a bilateral agreement to launch the International Tracked Packet Service (ITPS), aimed at enhancing cross-border postal cooperation and supporting the growing volume of e-commerce between the two countries. The service will provide a reliable and trackable logistics channel for low-value consignments, crucial for global e-commerce, and includes features like end-to-end tracking and delivery confirmation, which are expected to benefit Indian MSMEs, artisans, startups, and rural entrepreneurs by offering competitive logistics rates to the Russian market.
