India Approves ₹5,532 Crore for Electronics Manufacturing Projects

The Indian government has approved seven projects under the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) with a total investment of ₹5,532 crore. These projects are expected to generate ₹44,406 crore in output and create over 5,000 jobs, significantly boosting the country's electronics manufacturing sector, which has become the third largest export category in FY 2024-25. The ECMS aims to strengthen India's position in global electronics trade and enhance domestic production capabilities.
