India Boosts Cyber Forensic Capabilities Across States
The Government of India is investing in the upgradation of State Forensic Science Laboratories (FSLs) across 30 States and Union Territories, amounting to ₹244.89 crore. This enhances DNA analysis and cyber forensic capacities under the Nirbhaya funded scheme. Furthermore, six National Cyber Forensic Laboratories (Evidentiary) are being established at various locations with an approved budget of ₹126.84 crore under the 'Safety of Women' scheme, complementing the already operational NCFL (E) at CFSL, Hyderabad.
