The 70th Mahaparinirvan Diwas, marking the death anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, was commemorated with great fervour by the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF) at the Prerna sthal Parliament House Campus on December 6, 2025. The event, organized on behalf of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, witnessed floral tributes from top Indian dignitaries including the President, Vice-President, and Prime Minister. Thousands of people visited to pay their respects while Buddhist chantings added a serene touch to the ceremony. This annual commemoration aims to honor Dr. Ambedkar's contributions to social justice and the Indian Constitution, and to uphold his ideals on equality and empowerment promoted through the government's initiatives.
