India Develops Electric Hansa Trainer Aircraft
India has launched the development of the Electric Hansa (E-Hansa), a two-seater electric trainer aircraft, which is expected to be half the price of imported alternatives. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships and technology commercialization during a high-level review meeting. The E-Hansa aims to support India's green aviation goals and enhance indigenous pilot training capabilities. The meeting also highlighted ISRO's achievements and the need for integrated planning across various science departments.
