The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Guwahati, in collaboration with the National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), has developed a high-purity Reference Material, Methandienone Long-Term Metabolite (LTM), to enhance anti-doping testing in sports. Launched by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, this material is crucial for detecting over 450 prohibited substances and will be shared with WADA accredited laboratories worldwide, promoting integrity in sports.
