India Enhances Greenhouse Gas Inventory System through Collaborative Workshop
India has bolstered its greenhouse gas inventory systems with a recent workshop collaboration between CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at Dehradun. The workshop focused on the National Greenhouse Gas Inventory post submission of India’s first Biennial Transparency Report to the UNFCCC. It highlighted emissions accounting for various sectors, sustainable technologies, and the importance of timely submissions for future Biennial Transparency Reports.
