India Gears Up for National Energy Conservation Day 2025
The National Energy Conservation Day 2025 will be celebrated on December 14, with President Droupadi Murmu as the chief guest. The event, organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Power, aims to recognize achievements in energy efficiency. Awards will be presented to winners of the National Energy Conservation Awards and a National Painting Competition. A new category for Social Media Influencers has been introduced to acknowledge their role in spreading awareness. More than 80 lakh students participated in the painting competition, which is held at three levels: School, State/UT, and National.
