India Hosts 10th AITIGA Joint Committee Meeting

India hosted the 10th Meeting of the ASEAN–India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) Joint Committee from August 10 to 14, 2025, in New Delhi. The meeting aimed to review and enhance the effectiveness of AITIGA, with participation from all ten ASEAN member states. Seven sub-committees also convened to discuss various trade-related issues. ASEAN accounts for about 11% of India's global trade, with bilateral trade reaching USD 123 billion in 2024-25. The next meeting is scheduled for October 6-7, 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
