India-Italy Scientific Collaboration Strengthened

The cooperation between India and Italy in science and technology aims to enhance scientific research collaboration through joint projects and mobility of researchers. A Joint Strategic Action Plan was signed in November 2024, followed by a Business, Science and Tech Forum in April 2025. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was concluded in April 2025, along with an Executive Programme of Cooperation (EPOC) for 2025-27, financing 10 joint research projects in critical technology areas such as AI, Big Data, and Biotechnology.
