The Ministry of Heavy Industries has launched the Automotive Mission Plan 2047 (AMP 2047), a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing India's automotive sector in alignment with the 'Viksit Bharat @2047' vision. The plan focuses on innovation, sustainability, and increasing India's share in global automotive trade. Sub-Committees have been formed to outline objectives and engage various stakeholders, including government ministries, industry bodies, and academia, to collaboratively develop a comprehensive roadmap for the automotive industry by 2047.
