India Launches Credit Guarantee Scheme for Exporters

The Ministry of Finance in India has operationalized the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Exporters (CGSE) through the Jan Samarth Portal effective from December 1, 2025. The scheme aims to provide additional financial assistance to MSMEs and non-MSME exporters by ensuring liquidity and aiding market diversification. Within the first month, applications worth over ₹8,500 crores were received, with ₹3,100 crores sanctioned. The government guarantees 100% of the additional loan facilities to enhance global competitiveness and employment.
