India Launches Largest-Ever Tribal Empowerment Campaign

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has initiated the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJA), the largest tribal outreach campaign in India's history, aiming to empower over 5.5 crore tribal citizens across 1 lakh villages in 31 states and UTs. The campaign has already reached 53 lakh tribal citizens through 22,000 camps, facilitating Aadhaar enrolments, Ayushman Bharat cards, and other welfare services. It emphasizes inclusive governance and honors tribal icon Bhagwan Birsa Munda, reflecting the government's commitment to tribal communities' development.
