India has transformed its labour laws to include a broader definition of Audio-Visual workers, covering roles such as digital workers, journalists, dubbing artists, and stunt persons. The new unified Labour Codes, which consolidate 29 previous laws, enhance worker protection by ensuring universal minimum wages, formal employment contracts, and enforceable employee benefits, including health and safety provisions.
