India-Russia Strengthen Agricultural Cooperation
Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Russian Deputy PM Mr. Dmitry Patrushev met to discuss enhancing bilateral trade and cooperation in agriculture. They emphasized the importance of food security, farmer incomes, and technical partnerships, and expressed interest in formalizing their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding. Both sides agreed to explore joint initiatives in seed traceability and academic exchanges to promote sustainable growth in the agricultural sector.
